No one puts on a show or exhibition these days without documenting it: archiving all relevant photographs, programs, notes, costumes, set maquettes and so on. But what if you could have an archive that kept on growing and expanding? Melbourne’s RMIT University recently held a symposium called Digital Acrobatics: Performing the Circus Oz Living Archives which looks at how Circus Oz has put 30 years of performance, rehearsals, interviews and television appearances online and made them publicly accessible.
